FREE Meisner Preview
With Erin Burns
Sunday June 4th
This is a free preview class for those who are new to The Meisner Training Track or new to Erin Burns.
The definition of Acting is “living truthfully under imaginary circumstances.” In order to do this we must learn to strip away the confines that society has put on us and respond truthfully in every moment. Meisner has developed improvisational exercises that bring the actor back to the beginning where they learn to know themselves and can act in a place where no barriers exist. They will come away from this training with the ability to have a truthful experience with another actor. And when the actor has an experience, the audience has an experience.
Commercial Crash Course

While Practical Aesthetics technique is a text analysis and acting technique for any level actor, it is only for the serious one. You have heard that “Those who fail to plan are those who plan to fail.”…well, translated for the actor, that means “DO YOUR PREP WORK!” Why? So that you actually can live truthfully in the moment and stay out of your head. This can only happen when you have come to the audition, set, or stage confident in your preparation as a professional.
