About Me
Scott Poythress has worked professionally for over 33 years on stage, tentpole studio features, indie films, commercials, voiceovers, video games and scripted podcasts. As an actor, producer, director and now award-winning editor he continues to stay busy on both the east and west coast.
Most recently he guest-starred opposite Giancarlo Esposito in a new series for AMC, Parish, airing later this year. He also produced and stars in the indie psychological thriller I Trapped the Devil which can currently be seen on almost every streaming service available.
Right now he can be heard as Reverend Perkins in the immersive Blumhouse/iHeart radio #1 fiction podcast, The Mantawauk Caves.
As a co-founder and co-owner of Drama Inc. since 2013, he is thrilled to help share his experience and guidance to actors seeking to develop their on-camera careers.

HYB: On Camera Professional - WED DAY
Only open to working professional actors who are represented and have a minimum of 10 recognizable IMDb credits. NO application process. Must be invited by Instructor.
IP: Scene Study - THURS DAY
This class is for the actor that wants a partnered workout to free themselves from the “box” that we self-tape in.
IP: Script Analysis & Scene Study - TUES DAY
The objective of this class is for every actor to leave with a fully-equipped tool belt to breakdown a script and the ability to apply that new found knowledge to their performance.
