V: Quick Turnaround - THURS EVE

*MUST have previous on camera class experience

A guide to preparing for and taping auditions with quick turnaround times

This class will give you the tools to break down the sides, research the project, memorize and make strong choices in a short amount of time. Each week you’ll receive a script with a quick turnaround time for submission. You’ll also learn some basic tips for taping at home.

Week 1:
• Basics to breaking down a script
• Researching the project
• Knowing the “tone”
• Making strong choices
• Learning the lines

Week 2:
• Scene assigned 2 days before class
• Watch scenes w/feedback
• Discuss

Week 3:
• Scene assigned one day before
• Watch scenes w/feedback
• Discuss

Week 4:
• Scene assigned 8 hours before class. Must tape and submit as if it were a “last minute” audition
• Watch scenes w/feedback
• Discuss
• Re-cap
