In the last two decades Catherine Dyer has built an impressive resume on both sides of the camera. As an actress she is best known as the evil Agent Connie Frazier in season 1 of the Netflix mega-hit Stranger Things.
In 2024 Catherine recurred on the long running CBS daytime drama ‘The Young and the Restless’ as Dr Alcott Other recent credits include working opposite Chris Pratt in Amazon’s thriller The Terminal List as well as guest starring on season 2 of Sweet Magnolias, season 2 of The Morning Show and opposite Benicio Del Toro in Reptile on Netflix.
Other TV credits include: Guest Starring on Black Lightning, Queen Sugar, Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings and as Alexis Stevens on the Fox medical drama The Resident as well as appearances on Greenleaf, Halt and Catch Fire, Sleepy Hollow, Zoe Ever After, Army Wives, Necessary Roughness, The Inspectors, The Originals, Finding Carter, Complications, Satisfaction, Reckless, Drop Dead Diva, House of Payne, The Gates, Raising Izzie, Devious Maids, Past Life, Party of Five and Scorpion.
Film credits include starring in two hit Lifetime Original Movies: Psycho In Law and A Surrogate Scandal as well as appearances in The Founder with Michael Keaton and opposite Robert DeNiro playing Zac Efron’s mom in Dirty Grandpa. She had a pivotal role in Cell opposite Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack and as the ex-wife of Jeremy Irons in An Actor Prepares.
Catherine appeared opposite Sandra Bullock in the Oscar-winning film The Blind Side, Demi Moore in The Joneses, and as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife in the action thriller Sabotage.
Catherine also spent seven years as a Supervising Producer at A&E Networks garnering her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2003.
